very convenient!

I bought this app mainly just to have a tuner on my ipod, I wasnt too terribly concerned with the polytune feature on it. The ipod microphone is obviously not ridiculously sensitive so this will work best with an amplified guitar on a clean channel. if youre trying to polytune with a distorted tone, good luck haha its not gonna happen. For one string at a time tuning this one is great, and for polytuning, its ok. its not terribly accurate but its still pretty cool to have on there. If you want true polytune, youll have to get the pedal but if you dont want to shell out all that money, this is a great alternative.
overall, this app gets 4 stars from me because it does what a tuner should do. It loses a star because of the inaccuracy of the polytune, but its a great app nonetheless
