Fun easy and good!

It wont tune my low E string with no background noise. Fail

I bought this app mainly just to have a tuner on my ipod, I wasnt too terribly concerned with the polytune feature on it. The ipod microphone is obviously not ridiculously sensitive so this will work best with an amplified guitar on a clean channel. if youre trying to polytune with a distorted tone, good luck haha its not gonna happen. For one string at a time tuning this one is great, and for polytuning, its ok. its not terribly accurate but its still pretty cool to have on there. If you want true polytune, youll have to get the pedal but if you dont want to shell out all that money, this is a great alternative. overall, this app gets 4 stars from me because it does what a tuner should do. It loses a star because of the inaccuracy of the polytune, but its a great app nonetheless

The single note is very accurate on my iPod Touch 4G, but is totally off in the polytune mode. On my iPhone 4, its not that accurate, and is totally useless on it. Bottom line? If youve got the money, buy the real deal.

This is the best thing since butter. I bought the polytune pedal for my guitar/bass tuning, and bought this app for my horns. I couldnt be more satisfied unless it came with a full-body massage. Im recommending it to all my musician friends.

Great app. I use this app with my iRig adaptor and it works perfectly! Worth the 5 bucks!

This will not work with any core audio devises such as the Apogee Jam. The built in mic is pretty worthless if there is any background noise at all when you are trying to tune. Not impressed.

I just bought a tc polytune pedal, and saw this app on the "other tc products" brochure. This app works exactly like the pedal. Its both easy and dead-on accurate. The only thing it lacks, is "drop D" in strum mode tuning. Only has a "full D." Not a big deal to tune in "E," then tune 6th string down to D. Overall, its an easy and accurate tuner app.

This is a really nice app!!!! I have TC Electronics Polytune on my pedal board. I was so amazed how well it works that I bought the app for my iPhone! The pedal is a must in my opinion if you play electric guitar or bass. This app is really nice for tuning up my acoustic. I dont think Ill worry about having my Boss TU-15 when Im traveling because this app works great!

I loved this app for the last couple of years but it just doesnt work on my new iPhone 4GS. In particular, it doesnt pick up my E string. That makes it useless. Hopefully there will be a "fix" soon.

All I can say is I love it.

This is a cool app to have but on my iPhone 4 only single note tuning seems to work. The famous polyphonic mode just doesnt work for me. Strobe tuners are the best but this non-strobe tuner is good enough for casual playing.

Do not hesitate to purchase the tc electronic polytune. Super fast tuning and you can see which strings are out of tune all at once. Switch automatically between poly mode and chromatic. Selection of guitar or bass, drop tuning and other modes, you can even change the color scheme of the display! I own the hall of fame reverb in pedal form, and tc is on a whole new level compared to other manufacturers. Well worth the $4.99!

Im a pro guitar player and use iPhone tuners for sessions, recording and general playing along with other rack and stomp box tuners. The iPhone version of the Polytune just has too much going on and its not easy to see when a string is in tune in terms of speed. The looking at all 5 strings for tuning is useless to me. I use Guitar Toolkit...it is simpler, faster and more accurate in my view.

I could not port this app over to my new iPhone 5!!! Please update so it can!!!

Poly function no good, my Peterson app much better investment. Bummer.

Dont pay any attention to the one star reviews. Really good tuner app. Works great on acoustic using the built in mic.

I am purchasing this app because I am the proud owner of the actual PolyTune poly-chromatic tuner. Its Id the best tuner for bass guitar that I have ever owned in 44 yrs. of playing bass. I will write another review after putting this app to use. Just use the app. Love it !
